Tim Larson of Hickory, N. C. is a self-taught artist whose mediums range from watercolor and acrylics to oils. He finds inspiration in Blue Ridge Mountains and the foothills of North Carolina. Most of his subjects are North American birds, waterfowl and animals, although he is also known for his watercolors of historical and rural sites in Western N. C. He has won numerous awards for his watercolors and duck stamp entries and is a Charter member of the North Carolina Wildlife Art Society.
